I went. Got a picture. Got his autograph. Jensen is adorable. A complete gentleman. He is nothing like Dean, nothing like Jared. He is quiet and reserved and so nice. I enjoyed my very limited time with him, and I always thought I liked him as much as I did Dean, and now I know that's not true. I like him more than I like Dean. He is so real, so nice, so normal. Just a really good person.

I always wish that people would describe their encounters with Jensen like they do with Jared. I mean, Jared is so bubbly and energetic and sweet and nice. And you can always see the smile of the person who is writing about him. But when people talk about Jensen that smile isn't always there. It is always a pleasant encounter and a nice story but I don’t' ever seem to read the smiles.

I wanted my story to reflect my smile that I couldn't stop all day Sunday. I hope I can do it justice. So here it goes! Every single moment I was able to spend in his presence was awesome. He was so nice, I've said that, so human. So like everyone else. So not Dean Winchester, so not any of his characters, he was charming and so genuine. I didn't stop grinning from the moment I saw his sweater and hair at the photo op (my mind sort of canceled out the rest) until I went to bed that night. Hell, I’m still grinning. He was truly wonderful. He was energetic when I said hello to him and he returned the favor and when I stupidly told him that I didn’t know what we were doing, and he laughed a little and oh so graciously put his hand on my back. The whole panel he was so sweet and entertaining, and the autographing, although rushed, was wonderful. He was able to give each of us at least eye contact after he wrote and a smile that was thankful and genuine. I had a wonderful time, and I was very lucky to be able to meet him.

I can tell you from first hand experience, that cashmere sweater felt VERY soft. How do I know this? I got a full body contact hug! That's right: I touched the motherfucking Ackles! Twice (only in hug form once). I am not lying when I say that he took my breath away at first glimpse when Roguegambit26 and I were ushered in to the J2 photo op room (side note: how fucking awesome is she to invite me into her photo??? SO FUCKING AWESOME!). It was her birthday and I had a shirt made for her that said: "Hug me! It's my birthday!" She already got her Jared hug during her Jared photo op (her boy!). As we walk in (she was first), Jensen saw her shirt and said, "it's your birthday? C'mere, here's your hug!" Then we do our photo and they both said Happy Birthday to her. I look at Jensen and ask, "where's my birthday hug?" He laughs and says, "oh, hug by association?" Me, "hell, yeah!" He laughes and smiled so big and told me to come on over...you don't tell this girl that shit twice. Hugs NICE and he's FIRM and I agree, no scent. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME.

I have to say he was the most beautiful I've EVER seen him looking. EVER. NO ONE has ever looked so good in the history of good looking men.

My second Ackles touch was in the autograph line. I didn't have tickets for either boy but was getting Rogue's second Jared thing signed for her so since Jensen was first she had him sign the sign we had in our photo op (that I made...12 by 12 in size and double sided). Jensen reads it (out loud mind you) and laughs. Then he tries to OPEN it. I assume he thought it was one big ass card. We start laughing and I said, “dude, don’t ruin my craftiness!”. He just cracks up and asks if he’s suppose to sign it. Finally Rogue convinces him that he is and he does. So as she’s moving over to Jared with it Jensen looks up and says “Hi”, I say “Hi, I don’t have an autograph ticket but….chocolate cake, bump it” *fist bumps Jensen* and he laughed. God, that smile!!

So I'd just like to go on record and say that staring into the sun does NOT burn your eyes out, as I had close-up eye contact with The Jensen three times this weekend, and can still see just fine :) I got him to laugh twice as well, so I got to see the crinkle-eyes, too. So wonderful. I tried to project the picture from my mind to all of you out there in TV land as it was happening, so hopefully you got my happy thoughts! What a peach. So friendly, so sincere, and yes, so easy on the eyes, heh.

So here's how I got the laughs. When I finally got up to see Jensen for that op, I was standing in the doorway, and I hear this weird music. Chris had apparently put some music on, but this was bizarre. It sounded like cartoonish carnival music--like something they'd put in a montage on Funniest Home Videos when they're showing people waiting in line. So of course I had to comment. I stepped up to Jensen and asked, "What's with the music?" And he looked at me, did a sort of double take, smiled, and said, "I don't know, ask the DJ!" Points to Chris. Chris asks, "What's wrong with it?" And I said, "It sounds like I'm getting on a carousel." And Jensen busted a nut laughing--did this spit-snort thing and bowed over, laughing. And Chris in the meantime goes, "Hey!" And Jensen recovered and said, "Yes, it's an ecclectic mix." So he smiled right at me again and I leaned in for the pic, and then Chris said as I walked past him, "Yeah, we'll see if yours turns out." And Jensen laughed again and I did an "oh you" knuckle boink in his arm, said my sincere thanks, and left. Joy :)

The second time was the autograph session. I work at the Dean Clinic, so I had doctored (pun intended) one our Patient Satisfaction Survey notification fliers to feature Jensen dressed as a doc from Bloodlust (the pic that some of you lovely people from this very thread helped me to obtain--thank you again for all of your help!). So I presented it to him and he gets this big grin and looks up at me and says, "What is THIS?" And I explained that I work at Dean and this is a real flyer, etc, and he did that little amused laugh of his and said, "this is awesome!" and started reading it. I had put a line underneath his pic that said, "Dr. Feelgood wants to know...are you satisfied?" and he pointed that out and snerked. So he read through it and asked if he was supposed to sign it--I think he thought I was giving it to him! And I said yes, please, so he grabbed the black marker. So as he's signing, I hear Jared go, "What IS this?" because his handler had taken the flyer I made for him (the same thing, only I fixed it to look like Sam had gotten hold of it and 'fixed it' so it had his picture on and said Sam Healthcare--for better, smarter, taller care) so I had to explain it to him real quick what it all meant. And Jared grinned too and said "awesome...this is so awesome!" and signed as well. And here's the kicker--I got out of there and only then looked at what they signed. Jared just signed his name, but Jensen had written in above his signature, "I"ll fix you!" :) Seriously, could I love him more?

So yeah, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it :) He really is just lovely in person and looks you right in the eye when he's talking to you. I'm so blessed to have gotten this chance to meet him.

Jensen was just as funny as Jared, but I think Jensen answers a little bit more from the heart. Not that Jared doens't, but I don't know...Jensen has this quiet about him and he always looks you in the eye when he's talking, really addresses the answer to the asker, and really takes his time in answering. I love that about him :) He really makes you feel special, even in the few seconds you talk to him. His mama raised him right :)
