I have just had a nervous breakdown and started crying in front of my co-workers. My boss hugged and comforted me...he's such a good man but...I hate this, I hate myself when I lose control. Especially for things that are not worthy.

Just a little thing after the big implosion part of the fandom lived yesterday.
I read stuff, I listened to people's explanations, I talked to some friends and I came to a conclusion. Both sides have their reasons, both sides didn't handle the thing as they should have, at least imho.
Like it or not, this is what I think.

I'm not getting all my LJ email notification, so if I haven't replied to some of your comments, it's just because of this.

Ok now I have to go to work. I want to thank all the people who shared with me their opinions on the whales hunt. I saw the ships leaving the harbor on the news and I listened to what some big Japanese personalities said and it made me sick. I swear I wish I could stop them, no matter how.
I saw whales living happy and free in the Indian Ocean in South Africa and I can't think there are people who want to kill them.
As I can't believe people slaughter animals for their fur.
But the most unbeliavable thing to me is that a lot of normal people don't care and look at you as you are crazy, just because they think they are better than animals.
Looks like I can't stop ranting about this, I shall go and watch SPN, to get me distracted.

This is not acceptable, no matter which traditions or habits they are defending.
Lots of things that human beings do against this planet and the creatures who live on it are not acceptable for me.
I don't agree with everything the ambientalist organizations do, but this time I hope they can win this fight.

Whalers depart Japan.
I'm sorry if someone on my flist feels offended, this is not against a single person or a single Country. This is about the idea that we, as human beings, think we can do whatever we want with this planet...and we show how little far seeing we are.
We can kill animals, destroy forests, waste water, pollute air but at the very end, we are only destroying ourselves and our future. Nature is so much stronger than us.
This is not acceptable, no matter which traditions or habits they are defending.
