It amuses me that during the hiatus some people don't really know what to do and make wank more than usual. What amuses me even more is how some people don't see the double standard they use when they talk about characters.

In TVD fandom for example, Caroline is a saint no matter what she does or what she says, while Elena is judged as a very very bad girl.

Elena is drawn to Damon? WRONG WRONG, he is the devil, he is bad, he is a monster...and she is a slut cos she was in love with Damon's brother...

Caroline is drawn to Klaus? OMG awesome, they are so cute. Klaroline is the best ship ever, Klaus is awesome...LOL!

Seriously, Caroline is not anymore the wonderful character she was in S2 and half of S3 and Klaus, who imo is still a great character, doesn't have half the character development that Damon (or Stefan) has. Not to mention that he is evil and has done things that Damon has never done.

Anyway...

Same happens in SPN, especially if we talk about Dean and Castiel. I am so tired to hear Castiel fans blaming Dean for whatever Cas has done and never once trying to hold their favorite character responsible for something. They still say that Dean betrayed (?????) Cas and don't even consider what CANON says (which btw is exactly the opposite).

The Haven fandom seems to be the quite one, mostly because it's not so big...but I can' really deal with crazy shippers on whatever sides they are. People can ship whatever they want, but denying canon is not exactly coherent.

-On other news, TV shows wise, I can' really get past TVD and Haven. These two show are eating my brain. Seriously. I have all the Damon and Nathan feels. My ship is also giving me heartache and angst and I love it. Naudrey FTW!

-That being said, I can't wait to find out something more about Benny and Dean. These two have so much chemistry!

-Almost finished to watch Person of Interest season 1. I really like this show.

I saw a little bit of the debate between Obama and Romney. It's not my business and I shouldn't care at all, but if I were American, I could never vote for Romney. I respect all the opinions, but some are just too much for me.
Btw I guess I have to be worried about whom I am going to vote here in April, because the actual political situation is disgusting.

how are you doing?

We are ok. Just waiting to leave for the holidays in a couple of weeks. I am tired. I just need a break.

Yesterday we took Gaia and her cousin Diego to a park, which was a garden of an old noble Roman family. They build some statues in the rock, shaped as monsters and mythological creatures. The kids had a lot of fun. It was a really pleasant day.

Today back at work and with the bad news for the finacial crisis (not our company crisis, general crisis).

how are you doing? I am back at work, weather is still crazy but the weekend was good. We spent a lot of time out in the parks with our little Gaia and some friends and we enjoyed the sun and the lovely warmth.

I am at work, busy and this weekend will be crazy. We have to finish packing and moving furnitures because on Maonday we will start renovations. I am excited and scared at the same time.

We will stay at my parent's place for about a month.

Fandom wise, some news.

-TVD new stills, here. I am super excited for the final run!

-SPN official synopsys for 7.17 is out. What can I say? Exactly what I was expecting. No surprise. Not happy. Will explain why only after the episode.

how are you doig?

I am tired, haven't slept much last two days and it's been an intense weeekend.

-Had a Carnival party with kids and friends yesterday. It was all day long. Awesome and funny, but I was destroyed when I got bcak home.

-Whiteny Houston died and it saddened me more than I thought it was possible. She has been, just like Jackson, not among my favorite sigers, but like a soundtrack of my chlidood and adolescence. She was a real beauty. A great loss for whover loves ART.

-Greece is on fire. The Parliament approved the austherity measurements. I hope it can be a fresh start for that beautiful Country. I hope all my friends there are ok.

-Becoming addicted to Doctor Who as well and Mandy I blame you for this!!!

-Living in a TVD/Damon withdrawal. I am becoming dangerously obsessed...reminds me of the first four SPN seasons when I could not even think about not watching an episode immediately after it aired. It's a good feeling, yet challenging. Since I can't watch it on TV, I have to find the time to dl and watch it and sometimes is not easy...

Anyway about Damon, I loved this description:
