So a lot of Dean fans are worried because they think Castiel pulled Dean out of Hell just to be even more subservient and reliant upon Sam’s.
They think Dean's role hasn't changed a bit and that this storyline is just functional to "Special Sam", as they call him.

What do you think?

I am really surprised of how many Dean fans actually can't stand Sam and viceversa.

Dean walks to an old gas station in the middle of nowhere, and its time for
another round of guess that classic car. Here´s one of the reasons why this
script is superior, it capitalizes on Jensen´s strengths. There´s a no dialogue scene focusing on Dean´s changing facial expressions as he tries to make sense of what´s happening. This scene alone should be enough for Jensen´s Emmy reel.

I am really surprised of how many Dean fans actually can't stand Sam and viceversa.

I confess I couldn't stand Sam in the first half of season 1 because he was an ungrateful and selfish guy. The more he realized that family is the most important and got less and less self-centered and selfish, the more I liked him.

My friend's wife, though, is not fond of him. She wanted to kill him after the 3rd season finale because he didn't save Dean. When my friend told me that I was really amused.

Oh I hated Sam, especially in Asylum and Scarecrow. I was furious at him at ened of BUABS because he didn't address Dean's pain.

Now I love him but I don't agree with what he does, almost never.

I have always thought Sam would have never been able to save Dean but this is because I have my personal unpopular opinion about him. To me he is not so sweet, caring, sensitive as most of the fandom think he is...he is, but not only this. The fact that his sin is the pride is meaningful.
Plus I think Sam would kill everyone to save Dean, I am not sure he would ever sacrifice himself...I'm not blaming him for this. This is how I see his charater and for me it's a challenge to keep discovering and loving him.

Oh well no wank here, just considerations!!!

The fact that his sin is the pride is meaningful.
Pride and selfishness. And the latter is a large way Dean's, and specially John's, fault. Back in Something Wicked John fighting with Dean because he left Sammy alone, pissed me off. The way he carved in Dean's mind that Sam was the important one, the one who needed to be protected and saved and that was Dean's job when he was the one supposed to take care and protect both boys.

I am not a fan of John, at all. Even sacrificing himself to save Dean was enough for me, because of the bomb he dropped over the boy, with no further information or way to save his brother.

John did a lot of mistakes, but in a disfuctional family I guess we can't blame him too much.

Guess we could talk about Sam and John forever and just agree on the fact tha Dean rocks :)))
