So a lot of Dean fans are worried because they think Castiel pulled Dean out of Hell just to be even more subservient and reliant upon Sam’s.
They think Dean's role hasn't changed a bit and that this storyline is just functional to "Special Sam", as they call him.

What do you think?

I am really surprised of how many Dean fans actually can't stand Sam and viceversa.

Dean walks to an old gas station in the middle of nowhere, and its time for
another round of guess that classic car. Here´s one of the reasons why this
script is superior, it capitalizes on Jensen´s strengths. There´s a no dialogue scene focusing on Dean´s changing facial expressions as he tries to make sense of what´s happening. This scene alone should be enough for Jensen´s Emmy reel.

Well for me it's depends how they will tell us the reason why Dean is back.
If the only reason is Sam, then the only reason why Dean is alive is because Sam and he has nothing to do with Dean himself and with Dean soul.
For me it's really depends on how they will put it. I guess I have to wait and watch the episode.

I don't think thie episode will reveal this. I think it will tell a lot about Mary and why Sam has powers. I'm not sure anyone will ever tell Dean that he exist only for Sam...btw

if saving Sam,because Sam goes dark and can destroy the world, means saving the world, I wouldn't see the problem at all.

"Warner Brothers has sent out an advanced screener for In the Beginning for review.
I watched it twice back to back to back. It's very interesting and well dare I say OMG!!!
Jensen Ackles knocks it out of the park yet again!

Mitch Pileggi obviously spent some time learning to mimic Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and you will see why.
Some questions get answers like:
How did Mary know the YED
How did John Winchester get the Impala
Who Dean is really named after
Why Dean was pulled from hell
But fair warning, I firmly believe this episode is going to cause major controversy within the fandom because it overturns some
things that were previously established and because it deals with why Dean was brought back out of hell."

Really, since I have never really cared about Dean fitting the mythology. Actually I liked he didn't.

I think Dean believes his life is not worthy. I don't think from the show comes out that his only purpose is Sam. I mean it can be for him but I don't see it in the show. Not even if he has been brought back to save Sam.

Because imo, saving Sam is a lot more than saving his brother.

Plus I think Castiel and God could have used people with much more power to help sam. If they chose Dean, it's because is Dean.

Like I said for me won't change anything.

Io non ho mai avuto problemi con la storyline di Dean. E se domani verrà fuori che è tornato per salvare Sam, beh io non ci vedo il problema. Perchè per me è sempre lo stesso Dean, con lo stesso ruolo e la stessa importanza che aveva prima :)

Esatto è uguale a prima, niente è cambiato. Perchè Jensen e Kripke hanno detto che questa stagione Dean avrebbe avuto la sua storyline e che Dean non sarebbe stato lì solo per proteggere Sam, ma doveva capire cosa era successo a lui, preoccuparsi si se stesso?

Non è questione di importanza, è che la relazione tra Dean e Sam sta diventando morbosa (non nel senso dell'incesto)e negativa x tutti e due.
Poi se vanno x questa strada "Salva la Cheerleader (Sam) salva il mondo" sembra Heroes e a me Heroes non piace.

Spero di cambiare totalmente idea, dopo aver visto l'episodio.

Beh se lo hanno detto (e lo hanno fatto) lo avranno pur fatto con un motivo. Ora se poi la sua storyline non è quella che alcune persone vogliono, beh amen. Lo show è di Eric.
...io sinceramente tutto questo psicodramma che alcune fans di entrambe le parti stanno facendo proprio non lo capisco...anche perchè non vedo le due cose come autoescludentesi...intendo dire che secondo me capire cosa è successo nella sua famiglia e perchè Sam ha quei poteri, beh lo aiuterà ad aprire gli occhi e vedere le cose sotto un'altra luce. Quindi anche a capire se stesso.
Giudicare una stagione dal terzo episodio mi sembra un po' superficiale.

Beh in caso è Heroes che ha copiato SPN e poi, proprio in Heroes dove Clear è quella speciale, in realtà i personaggi migliori e più dentro lo show, sono altri.

It's not about the mythology. I don't give a dan about it.I actually love that Dean is just a regular guy without power and I get that they are linked and you can't have one without the other.
But Dean is a human being, an adult: his whole world can't be Sam, his only reason to be alive can't be Sam. The only good thing about Dean can't be Sam.
Sam can be one of the most important reasons, a big part of his world. Most important Sam should not be the only reason why God himself commanded that Dean was pulled from hell.
