Ep. 3.12 picspam and Reviews
Feb. 15th, 2008 03:13 pmAlthough with this episode I think they have somehow messed up with Dean, I can't stop loving this show.

Dean was totally thinking Sam was nuts, but it didn't matter. He believed his brother and wanted to help his brother get to the bottom of this. The trust Dean looked at Sam with was so great. So the brotherly love was my favorite part of this episode and it all culminated in that hug Sammy gave Dean after the loop/alternate reality was broken and it was Wednesday.
The trickster was really trying to give Sam the hard sell on him not being able to save his brother. Why? There has to be a reason. I know everyone and everything keeps saying it's about Sam. But there has to be a reason they're trying to drum it into his head that Dean can't be saved. Thankfully Sam's got a stubborn streak about a mile long.
Dean only remembers Sam being whacked out and meeting up with the trickster. I hope Sam ended up telling his brother what else happened.

Eventually, though, the trickster realizes that he is not going to change the brothers, or create even a crack in their loyalty to each other. Another snap of the fingers and...

In the aftermath, the whole thing works as a nice companion to the end of "Dream A Little Dream Of Me." Last week we saw Dean coming to a realization and fully committing to the idea of getting out of the deal. While Sam was already on that train, here we see him getting all the reinforcement he could ever need. The two of them should now be fiercely focused as they turn their attention in that direction.

( I have rewatched the episode and even if I think it has some major flaws and can't be compared to WIAWSNB, I almost made up with it. )
RATINGS are up to 2.94 millions and considering SPN was preempted for a game in some areas, it did good!!!
