Panel Moderator: Thank you, now before we're gonna have to wrap it up, I know you have something you wanted to say?
Kripke: Yeah, one thing I wanted to say is a kind of a combination "Thank you so much" and also sort of a mission: Season 3, guys, we got...it was really touch and go whether there was going to be a season 3, and I want us to make sure that there's a season 4. We love this show, and we’re passionate about it, and what we always talk about amongst ourselves is... we have some of the smartest, most passionate, most intelligent fans of any show on television, and I would ask you. I mean, in a certain way, season four is in the audience’s hands, and so, tell your friends, and spread the word, and spread the gospel of Supernatural, because we're going to keep making them as long as we have the audience to watch it, so I would ask for your help. It's a team effort, and we’re in this together. But for now, you guys are the greatest, and again, we have the best fans. Thank you so damned much!and Jensen:
STAR TROUPER OF THE YEAR: “I've got just a few more hours before I hit a wall,” said “Supernatural” heartthrob Jensen Ackles, who had followed a very late night on the show's Vancouver set with a very early flight to San Diego. Still, he had enough energy for a prepanel interview, where he chatted about cars, football and the joys of playing a character with one year left to live.
“He's looking up old flames and saying, 'Hey, how about Round Two?,'” the actor said of his character, who sold his soul to the devil to save his ghost-hunting brother's life. “And then he realizes, 'I've got responsibilities. Let's go kill some ghosts now.'”
And after the interview, Ackles honored the Comic-Con tradition of giving fans a little something for their emotional goodie bags.
“I love you, Jensen!” came a yell from the panel audience.
And Ackles smiled into the sea of faces and cameras and said, with utmost sincerity, “I love you, too.”
