Hi flist,

how are you doing? I am fine. We got back home yesterday after the weekend in Bari. We celebrated his bday twice, once with his family and then later with his friends. Very good time. Also, we went on the beach on Sunday morning, it was windy but beautiful and Gaia wanted to go in the water...of course we didn't let her, since the sea was cold, but she had fun throwing the stones in the water.

Lots of news fandom wise, after the Paley festival. Talking about TVD, obviously. The panel was fun and I love the cast. Some very pretty pics and vids came out...Ian and Paul rocked the panel. Those two boys are amazing, seriously.

I am also pleased with what Plec said about the story being about two brothers:

The beauty of Stefan and Damon is that both of them, though one began the show as a hero and one began as a villain, is that in their core, they both have sides that are as dark and as light and that really fight against each other. And when you add the vampire context into it, it's a constant battle for both of them. For Damon, it's battling against the parts of him that want to be pure and good and for Stefan, it's battling against that sort of demon inside of him that wants to take over. So the brothers are sharing a journey. It's just manifesting itself differently.

This makes me very happy!

Just watched and posted the video for the Paley fest (TVD panel) it was fun to watch! Matt Davis kept cracking up, Ian and Paul were being boys. It was fun. I liked hearing Julie Plec talking about the boys and about the proces of writing. A lot of people in the fandom complain that she listens too much to the fans. But since both the rabbid Damon stans and the rabbid Stefan fans say that... I wonder if it's true. PErsonaly, I don't think she is.

OMG this was a great addition to my day.

I love Jensen so much that ever since I found out he was engaged to Daneel I alternate between reading whatever is out there in the official media and ignoring her altogether. Now that I don't watch SPN as obsessively as I used to, I'm pleased to report that I actually like seeing pics of them two together.

Anyways... my boo was looking HAWT, he's a much better dresser in real life than Dean Winchester. And I love that.

As for TVD, beautiful people that are beautiful are beautiful.

OMG I love this show!!!

ETA - I also loved that Paul mentioned how great it is that the brothers are finding camaraderie in the fact that they love the same woman again. Julie Plec also added that it basically boring to have them torn apart over that. The more interesting story is to see how that can bring them closer.

YAY for Salvatore brothers bonding and finding more positive things in their messed up relationship!!!
