how are you?
I am still giggling like a 15 years old, this con was a blast, a real blast. I warn you...long long long post ahead :)))
I arrived on Saturday morning, I met my friends Silvia and Marica and then we went to attend to the opening ceremony with all the cast. The first thing that hit me hard, very hard, was Misha. He looks so much better in person, you know...the camera doesn't do him justice.
Then I saw Sebastian, Mark, Richard, Chad, Rob, Jared and Jensen. I think my heart skipped a bit when I saw Jensen again ;)
Jared..oh Jared...he's just like Misha, he looks better in person. He is cute and a very handsome guy. Not my type, but certainly better than he looks in SPN.
The thing that stood out for me was that Jensen was the leader of the group. He was the one who talked the most, who introduced the event and the cast. Everyone seemed comfortable with this.
Let's go to describe the panels. I won't talk much about what they said, because I am pretty sure you all know and I don't remember everything (But I have videos :)))).
The first one was Misha:
I think I fell for him immediately. He was pretty. I think it was the combination of his eyes and his pale skin or maybe his smile, I can't really tell. I have loved Castiel since day one, but never had a thing for Misha. After this con, I think I have.
I guess what made me fall was the fact that he is witty and sarcastic, but also sweet and caring. He is funny, he loves to joke and he is charismatic.
Few things from the panel:
-he would do a SPN musical with J2 in drag
-his son calms down listening to Peaches songs (he did during a roadtrip from Vancouver to La)
-he has been told that sometimes he doesn't respect people personal space (and he was telling this while trying to invade a girl personal space talking about what he and Castiel have in common)
-he considered his tweets in the French Mistake very lame
-he told us a story about being in prison when he was 7 because his mother was driving without a headlight. His mom hid a weed bag in his little brother pants and they spent some time at the police station. The policemen didn't find out about the weed and they were released :)
-Do you prefer Jensen or Jared? Either, cuz he has to work with them
-Misha was arrested once because he climbed up the roof of a bank to read and somebody was robbing the bank.
-"Take off your shirt!" "Who do you think I am, Sebastian?
Misha was lovely...and beautiful.
Next one was Jensen, who crashed Misha's panel. OMG Jensen, I don't think I have enough words to describe the awesomeness of this man. Seriously, there are no words.
He's different from the one I met four years ago in England. Shy doesn't apply to him anymore. He is still reserved about his private life, but now, he is resolute, he knows how to handle even the most awkward questions without being rude. I think he is one of the most polite persons I have ever met.
He is also self assured. Basically this is the biggest difference. Back then at Asylum I saw a shy guy, nervous and not at ease.
In this con I saw a handsome, brilliant, funny, witty, sarcastic young man who doesn't hide and is not scared anymore.
He was relaxed and he was having fun.
Some things from the panel:
-Dean is most afraid of what could happen to Sam and of bad stuff happening to people he loves.
-J was okay playing Dean playing Jensen, but not playing himself .
-About the perfect tear he is so good at, the camera guys call it the OPT: one perfect tear! Ohhhh Jensen :)))
- Jensen said he would never do a cd. He said it would be easy for him to sell them, but this would be disrespectful of his musician friends
- A girl didn't have a question, so J: ask me a question you would ask Bill Shakespeare!
- which would be J's heaven? his fave moments, like right now...
-He was asked who he would marry among the guest stars in SPN and he replied that she hasn't been on the show yet...awww Jensen, you're so smart ;)
Jared crashed the panel and they started to play with two plushies, Bartolomeo and Francesco. They played ventriloquism with them. Jensen left and it was Jared's turn. Since it was the first time I saw Jared, this is the impression I got from him: a giant teddy bear, a good buddy to hang out with.
He's much more handsome than he looks on screen or in pictures, but he doesn't do anything to me physically. I did appreciated his panel a lot though.
Some things he said:
- about roadtripping: he would go with his mother. Jensen with his father since he's a family man who really cares.
-his favorite season was the fourth because of Sam's arch and because he met his wife. He said that pointing out his wedding ring. He's so sweet when he talks about Gen.
-Jared was feeling very hot and a girl gave him a fan, he kept fanning his shirt and he undid a button ...the crowd went WHOW!!!
-the staff brought Jared a stack of towels and a ice pack, lol!
-He said Jensen and himself got kicked out during a Cas scene cause they kept making Misha laugh and that Jensen makes lascivious faces at Misha to make him laugh :)
After those panels, I went for the autos of Jared and Misha. Jared was cute, but Misha..he did steal my attention. We talked about his baby and he was happy about it. He made me feel like a 15 years old at her first celebrity crush...lol!
In the afternoon, we had the J2 panel.
Jensen was outstanding and they really bring out the best from each other. I mean you can see they have built up a real friendship throughout these six years and you can easily see how much they respect each other. They are a proven team and they know each other very well.
The impression I got was like we were all part of something. Jensen, Jared, us, the SPN crew. It was one of the things they said. Jensen said that SPN can't exist without us and the crew, we say that it can't exist without J2. It's a circle where everyone plays a role. Basically what Jensen said is that we all are together because we love the show, as a big family. Jensen pointed out again that the most important thing for them is the love and respect they get from the fans and they hope to be able to give it back.
Jensen and Jared chemistry is unbeliavable, they are totally comfortable with each other. I could stay hours just there listening those two talking, joking, making pranks.
The funniest moment of the panel was when they started to play with some sort of tridimensional effect on the screen behind themselves. Everyting they were doing, was showed on the screen with three different delays and they were like two kids..just playing that game and having fun.
The crowd was totally flailing and the word I would use to describe them is fondness.
It was such a good feeling!

-Jared's advice to Sam: stay in the hotel room and don't make demon deals.
-Jensen's advice to Dean: take a vacation.

-Jensen would cast Jared for the Justin Bieber bio movie.
-Jared would cast Jensen for Twilight.
-Jensen says he would play Bella, cause "the other guy is even more feminine
-J2 raved on about how awesome SPN fans are, especially compared to the Twilight fandom.
-Jared favorite line is one he is going to say in the finale.
-Jensen's was "Driver picks the music, shotgun shuts sis cakehole" because it set the tone of the relationship between the brothers.
-they were asked which shows they would like to be in and jensen said CSI MIAMI because of david caruso paycheck and because you don't need to be able to act...he couldn't believe he actually said that...Jared played Caruso's face just like he did in Changing Channels.
At some point, Misha crashed the panel, asking question in a girly voice..Jensen asked where she was from and Misha said "India-Russia". J2 were all WTF is that country? and then Jensen said :"I know it, I heard that only unacctractive people come from there". After that it was all a joke :)
After the panel, I had my autos with Jensen and Rob Benedict. OMG OMG OMG JENSEN! He always does that, looking straight in your eyes when he speaks to you. JENSEN EFFECT BIG TIME.
Rob...he was so cute. He is the sweetest. We spent some minutes talking and I wanted to stuff him in my bag and take him home with me.
So not tired yet? Because the best is yet to come...the best was on SUNDAY!
The first thing I did on Sunday was my auto with Mark Sheppard, whom I adore from Battlestar Galactica. He was all sleepy but very nice.Then the funniest panel of the whole con:

Sebastian is a real nature force. I don't know where his energy comes from. Evan Misha said that he is envious of Seb energy.
I think the guy lives larger than life but in a good way. He and Misha have an awesome chemistry and their panel was pretty much a giant joke.
Some highlights:
-They talked about improvising during the many sex scenes they do on SPN.
-A guy said Seb that he started to follow him when he was 12. Seb asked where and he said on the internet. Seb said :"oh you watched the gay porn?"
-Trashing the Charmed actresses, Misha kissed Alyssa Milano, but whe they met after few years she didn't remember him.
-Misha said he set the rule for angel, they should be boring, not funny so when Balthazar came and was all for the fun, he said, "why can't Cas have some fun?"
-Teasing each other about the water they were drinking: "Do you want some more water, darlin?" "No, I'm okay, sweetie".
-About their jobs if not actors: Misha's a ordained priest who administer last rights, Seb's a stripper in his free time.
-A guy called Seb Jensen, so Misha is playing Jared...absolutely perfect in mimicking J2.
-Seb complained about Balthy having canary wings compared to the awesome black ones of Cas.
-Misha answered questions asked in Italian and French with answers about politics.
-They were asked when Balthy and Cas met and they said they went to the same angel school and then they started a landscaping business.
-The panel was almost over and Jensen crashed it making shadow puppets on the camera so that they played on the screen. Misha and Seb weren't immediately aware of it. Then they got it, while Jensen started to ask fannish question in some kind of weird Russian accent.
-Jensen got on stage with them.
Jensen's panel. Trust me, he was simply STUNNING! I can't add anything more to that.
He joked as always and he was a real star performer.
I loved some of the answer he gave about his job and his wife.
-he was asked which was the highlight of his previous experience here in Rome and he said it was the private Mass held in the Vatican for them. The altar was right below a painting with Michael's holding his sword.
-he loves to do the stunts and he recalled the one Jared and himself did in the episode where Anna was in, the one they had to jump from a building. He said they weren't scared as long as they could see the matresses on the ground, but when they shot, they couldn't see and they just hoped they were there.
-he said that scene had to be re-shot and they wanted to do that night, so he talked to the producer to get the permission.
-he was asked whom he would sell his soul for and he said his wife. He quoted a love song which finale lines were like "please, don't take her, take me". He would do that for Danneel. So much love. So much love.
-he was asked how was to make love with an angel on screen and he said, going all sarcastic: "oh well you have the camera over you, the light on your face, you want to make the girl comfortable because she is in a more vulnerable position, you have lots of people around..so yeah it was heavenly, angelic, earthshattering :)
-he said Dean would like to die in a pile of women and food or heroically, but if he dies they'll just bring him back, cause we'd whine.
-he said that Dean could never substain a relationship because it would make him vulnerable and he can't afford it with what he does.
-he made tons of jokes about Misha.
-he was asked if was ever ashamed by something his characters did and he said no. It's a story to be told and he goes along with it. Then he said he is ashamed of Sam's hair. He said in Dean's voice: "Dude, cut your hair, we are hunters not Justin Bieber!"
-Jensen would like to work with Jared again, especially if Jared's in drag.
-If J was directing a movie, he'd put Jared in a coma for the entire movie like Robert De Niro in Awakening.
-Jensen would get Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery and Johnny Depp to play in SPN.
-he was asked if he choose the music and he said no because he is just a little ring of a much longer chain. He was so down to earth guys. So humble and so aware of the importance of the other people jobs.
-at some point a fan read a praising letter to Jensen and he was moved by it. He said it was very sweet, then he played it down because he was really touched.
So what did I get from this panel? That Jensen is a real gentleman. A lucky guy, who knows to be blessed, who loves his job, his friends, his wife, his family, the little things and who respects everyone and just asks for the same respect.
So on my part, I can't do anything else that respecting him even more than before. It's this attitude that makes him who he is and makes him gain the role he has into the SPN family.
You could see all the other actors giving him this recognition, Jensen was outstanding even when he was a step behind, letting the others shine. This is charisma and this is something that you can't learn. You have it, or not. Jensen has it.
Next one was Mark and Richard panel.
So funny. They basically spent all the time walking among the crowd, taking pictures and joking. They were magnificent. I adored Gabriel, so it was great to see how much awesome Richard is.
Mark was asked what he thought about Battlestar Galactica and he said it's one of the best show ever. Some of us, Silvia and myself included, approved being huge fans of the series.
At some point a girl asked for the Eye of the Tiger dance and they brought people onstage to dance. It was awesome.
After that we all sang We Will Rock you.
The most waited thing of the con, THE MISHA/JENSEN PANEL :
I don't know where to start from.
Misha owns me. I had reactions I didn't expect to have. He blew me away.
The guys were both tired, especially Misha, so Jensen took the lead and Misha just followed him. They have an awesome chemistry, they are on the same wavelenght, it's an intellectual understanding I think. They complete each other sentences, they just match.
The rehars of Harry meets Sally was by far one of the funniest thing I have seen in a con. It worked out like this: two fans said that they were the best actors around and asked for them to try that script. Misha took it and said, "I want to be Sally". He did asked Jensen if it was ok and Jensen said: "We are actors, we can do it and make decisions". They decided to do it in some sort of New Yorkers gangster accent.
I'll post my video soon but guys...I think I died from laughing and Misha OMG MISHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! The fake orgasm was, it was...I am speechless!
The two of them together were simply STELLAR! They both were. STELLAR!

-They talked about Jensen making lascivious faces at Misha to crack him up. Misha said that people could do whatever to make Jensen crack and he doesn't, while it's enough for Jensen to move his eyes in a lascivious way to make Misha crack :)
-Cas in his day off would do housekeeping, LOL! Jensen said he didn't get the question right.
-Jensen was asked if he would do an European movie and Misha asked if an European film is an euphemism for gay porn, LOL!
-A girl was about to ask them to dance, they stopped her and made a pact not to dance, so they used the pact as an excuse.
-Jensen called him Mish.
-They auctioned Misha's scripts for Japan, Jensen's surprised Misha has no notes on his scripts.
After that there was the closing ceremony. It was sad and happy at the same time. Jensen greeted us, the cast, the JIB staff and everyone involved into the con.
Misha did the same. Jensen again...he was oustanding, hidden in the corner of the stage, he was just pure gold.
So this is my report, I know I forgot a lot of the things that happened...now I have this bittersweet feeling with will stay with me for days. I already miss my friends, which I do really really love, but I am happy and proud to be a SPN fan. No matter how much the show disappoints me sometimes. I am happy to be part of this something, to have the chance to see how dedicated we are, both us and the cast.
It was just great.

So what did I get from this panel? That Jensen is a real gentleman. A lucky guy, who knows to be blessed, who loves his job, his friends, his wife, his family, the little things and who respects everyone and just asks for the same respect.
So on my part, I can't do anything else that respecting him even more than before. It's this attitude that makes him who he is and makes him gain the role he has into the SPN family.
You could see all the other actors giving him this recognition, Jensen was outstanding even when he was a step behind, letting the others shine. This is charisma and this is something that you can't learn. You have it, or not. Jensen has it.
Next one was Mark and Richard panel.
So funny. They basically spent all the time walking among the crowd, taking pictures and joking. They were magnificent. I adored Gabriel, so it was great to see how much awesome Richard is.
Mark was asked what he thought about Battlestar Galactica and he said it's one of the best show ever. Some of us, Silvia and myself included, approved being huge fans of the series.
At some point a girl asked for the Eye of the Tiger dance and they brought people onstage to dance. It was awesome.
After that we all sang We Will Rock you.
The most waited thing of the con, THE MISHA/JENSEN PANEL :
I don't know where to start from.
Misha owns me. I had reactions I didn't expect to have. He blew me away.
The guys were both tired, especially Misha, so Jensen took the lead and Misha just followed him. They have an awesome chemistry, they are on the same wavelenght, it's an intellectual understanding I think. They complete each other sentences, they just match.
The rehars of Harry meets Sally was by far one of the funniest thing I have seen in a con. It worked out like this: two fans said that they were the best actors around and asked for them to try that script. Misha took it and said, "I want to be Sally". He did asked Jensen if it was ok and Jensen said: "We are actors, we can do it and make decisions". They decided to do it in some sort of New Yorkers gangster accent.
I'll post my video soon but guys...I think I died from laughing and Misha OMG MISHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! The fake orgasm was, it was...I am speechless!
The two of them together were simply STELLAR! They both were. STELLAR!
Some highlights:
-They talked about Jensen making lascivious faces at Misha to crack him up. Misha said that people could do whatever to make Jensen crack and he doesn't, while it's enough for Jensen to move his eyes in a lascivious way to make Misha crack :)
-Cas in his day off would do housekeeping, LOL! Jensen said he didn't get the question right.
-Jensen was asked if he would do an European movie and Misha asked if an European film is an euphemism for gay porn, LOL!
-A girl was about to ask them to dance, they stopped her and made a pact not to dance, so they used the pact as an excuse.
-Jensen called him Mish.
-They auctioned Misha's scripts for Japan, Jensen's surprised Misha has no notes on his scripts.
After that there was the closing ceremony. It was sad and happy at the same time. Jensen greeted us, the cast, the JIB staff and everyone involved into the con.
Misha did the same. Jensen again...he was oustanding, hidden in the corner of the stage, he was just pure gold.
So this is my report, I know I forgot a lot of the things that happened...now I have this bittersweet feeling with will stay with me for days. I already miss my friends, which I do really really love, but I am happy and proud to be a SPN fan. No matter how much the show disappoints me sometimes. I am happy to be part of this something, to have the chance to see how dedicated we are, both us and the cast.
It was just great.
