Nice episode, better than I was expecting :)
The episode was histerycal. Still not among my favorite but sure better than the last one imo.
The thing I liked the most was how the boys could actually see their lives like in a mirror. My hope is that thinking about it, they could learn something.
But I guess this is not SPN style...
What I liked:
-The boys reaction when they found out about the books.
-Carver-Edlund...
-The references about us, as fandom, and SLASH! It really cracked me up.
-The whole scene with the editor. It was so funny :)
-"Sam and Dean are fictional characters..." sometimes it's hard to remember ;)
-How funny was Sam denying he could be in bed with Lilith, when he did actually have sex with another demon?
-Dean and Sam discussing about what to do with Lilith. One more sign of how far the boys are from each other.
-So everything is on Sam's shoulders? It's what the show has been telling us for 3 seasons but I think both Dean and Sam have their story and their burden to carry. Both of them have decisions to make and an active role in stopping everything.
That's why I don't think the first 2 seasons were all about Sam (as some Dean girls said) and I don't think this one it's just about Dean (as some Sam girls complain).
-Castiel with Dean. I love that he tells him just little tidbits of the bigger picture, leaving Dean with more questions than answers. Castiel is trying to get Dean to have faith. It's a hard task. For Dean it's still to hard.
-I was so happy to hear Dean and Sam fighting again. I just wish Sam would talk, be honest, come clean but he doesn't trust Dean anything more than how much Dean trusts him.
It was comforting hearing Dean so worried for Sam...some things won't ever change.
-Sam with Lilith. The guy was stubborn but this time I think he was right. He needed to face Lilith and try to do whatever he can to stop her. Sam felt the responsability of making the right thing. Too much to deal with. IMO the difference between the brothers is not in what they want, it's how they want to stop everything. It's in how they think they can handle the battle and their relationship.
HAPPY WEEKEND FLIST!!!
