AFGM review, again.

This really made me melt, again thanks to Sara:



Play stuff first. We saw the play from a completely different pov. Last night we were up close and personal; tonight we were back a bit further back so saw things we missed last night. Got the bigger picture so to speak. Jensen's performance was spot on. He was more relaxed and less overwhelmed. Fewer flubs from him, more from the rest of the cast. Nothing large enough to ruin anything. This also meant that last night his eyes really did tear up in the scene where he talks about his father being proud of him. Tonight he conveyed the emotion but didn't actually cry.

Oh, yeah, in comments of the premiere night people mentioned that in that scene he was really crying with tears in his eyes. I wonder what his mother and father felt in that moment...

I think that too and still... what mother fells when she see her son with tears in his eyes... even knowing that it's not because some1 hurts him... It's har to be a mother of the actor, especially THAT good one like Jens...

I really wish I was there to see this performance. Based on everyone's accounts Jensen is just further proving his range and talent as an actor. I'm so proud he took this chance, considering he hasn't done any stage acting since high school. All that dialog, and performing it twice a day...it's got to be challenging.

Bet he'll think learning lines for SPN will be a piece of cake after this. :)
