x5vale | Asylum post 3: Jensen's panels part 2

Some others random stuff that happened at the panels.

1-Jensen was asked about fanfictions. Here his own words: "Some of it's crazy, some of it's...disturbing. And there's...Wincest.....
"we try and steer clear of that one, we only know about it because Kim Manners printed some off for us...i just hope my grandmother never reads this...doesn't read it".
Amen!

Then there was another inappropriate question about Sam and Dean being perceived as gay. Jensen was uncomfortable and he finally said that they don't think about them like this. He said there's nothing in what they do that could make you think they are. He added that if there is a little homosexual humour in there, the writers do it to poke fun at those fanfictions.

2-He was asked he if does research about the firearms used on the show and he answered he does, especially to learn how to use them, to feel them. to help Dean to look confident with his weapons.

3-He was asked what he did when he heard that Supernatural had been picked up after the Pilot.
He said he called Tom Welling and he told him they should have filmed in LA. He teased Tom about this but, after a bit, he found out he had to move to Vancouver too.

4-He said he was originally casted for Sam, and he said "can you imagine it?", and he met the actors that should have played Dean to see the chemistry between them. So much for the competition. He said he asked to play Dean and when Jared was casted, they gave him the role he wanted.

5- He was asked if they put personal experience to act out emotional scenes.
He replied sometimes they do, but for the main part the result his due to the great chemistry between him and Jared, a gift, as he called it. A very close friendship, a strong bond that makes those scenes easier to be played because you're working wth someone you care about and you feel for him when you see what his character his being through. *I love this boy*
He also said that when he uses his personal experiences, it takes days to shake off.

6- He was asked to say something as Sam and he yelled:"Dean, SHOTGUN."
He said he loves hearing that line from Jared.

7-They asked about his relationship with Jessica Alba and he said he was going to respond only because there had been an "happy ending". He said working with her was crappy, because they didn't get along. A year after the show ended Jessica called him and asked if they could meet. When they did, Jessica apologised to Jensen, explained that she was in a bad place at the time. Jensen said she was happy and that she hugged him. Then Jensen said he was happy for her and that he respects her a lot now.

8-He said he has role he shouldn't have taken but he didn't say what they were.

9-He was asked to describe himself in 5 words on Sunday panels amd since he was really tired he said : THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE TODAY!

10-He hasn't a ring tone on his mobile since he forgets to switch it off , so he always has the vibration mode because he finds embarassing to be in the middle of a scene and have the phone ringing.

11-He wants to go for vacation on a sandy beach so he asked the fans to email Kripke and tell him about a ghost surfer to hunt.

12-On the fact that the fans want Sam and Dean to hug more, he said:"I thought we got off the wincest subject, nah, we'll hug."

13-He said the power of Dean, if he would have been the chosen one, would have been X-ray vision.

14-He said he loves the Impala and he's trying to convince EK to give it to him when SPN ends.

15-He said they loved working with Jeffrey Dean Morgan and he wishes he could be around more. Jensen said he's particolarly proud of working with Jared and Jeff.

16-He said he does most of the stunts, and so does Jared. His stunt double was the same he had in Dark Angel.

17-He was asked who he saw Dean settle with romantically. And he answered "his girlfriend and nobody else".

18-He doesn't like that Dean eats so much and he blames himself, since it was his idea for Dean to eat and the writers loved it.

19-He also wish Dean to be less hard headed, but he knows that this is not possible, since he wouldn't be Dean anymore.

20-

woodsbaile_02 asked him about his upcoming play "A few good man" and he said he feels nervous about it because he hasn't been on stage for 11 years now. He said he's excited and nervous at the same time. He said he doesn't know yet how he's going to play the role and he's scared because there's a lot of dialogue he has to learn.

21-Jensen doesn't want the boys to die at the end of SPN.

22-He was asked about his best and worst physical feature and he tried to avoid to answer, but the he looked down and then again at the audience and he said "There’s always that…" *big evil grin*
About the worst one, he said:"and for worst feature...I have pretty bad texas bowlegs."

23- He was asked who inspired him and he thought for a while, then "Really, it’s my pops."

24- One of his favorite episode was Dead in the water because it was his turning point to get to know Dean.
He said during that episode he made a connection with Dean,revealing more of his character, why he is and what motivates him. Jensen said it was the moemnt he started to understand Dean. He said he got Dean then.

25-a little kid asked him if they hurt themselves on the set and since Jensen didn't hear him, he asked the kid to come on the stage. He said they are careful, but sometimes yes, they get hurt. Then he said to the kid, to be careful in leaving the stage and he helped him out. *so so so cute*

26-he was asked about the naughtiest thing he’s ever done and he answered that on set it was filming the sex scene with Cassie, when he was very naked.
He said :"And yeah, try explaining that one to your girlfriend."

27-He wants his GPS system to have the voice of Anthony Hopkins.

28-His favourite Shakespeare is Hamlet.

29-On which song Dean would dance to if forced to at a wedding,the funky chicken, or the macarena...he replied:
"He'd totally rock down to both of them...of course he'd be drunk though...he'd be so drunk they'd have to carry him out of there."

30-Jensen mimicked Jared doing the Blue Steel impression. He said Jared does it after every take when the camera's still on him. So Jensen was surprised when he was the one who got to do it in FPB.

I guess it's enough for now.

My video and pics are almost ready and I have to scan the ones I took with him.

So tomorrow I'll post my meeting with Jensen and my impressions about the concert.
