Sera Gamble & Bob Singer preview what's to come for Dean in 'Supernatural' S7
E!Online review and spoilers.
"The #Supernatural premiere was super stressful, but I'm actually very satisfied with it & I think y'all will be too. Looking forward to 702"
"There's a lot in #SPN 701 that's dependent on how 702 goes down, but I will say that the producers obviously heard your concerns."
What about Dean and Sam relationship: "Sera said they're stronger together, so although they have a wobble in the premiere, they're still on solid ground"
Sul ruolo di Dean: "Sam and Cas will be his concerns because that's how he is, but he'll have his own issues to face internally."
A fan asked if Dean has been reduced to nothing as she fears: "I mean, we're both big Deangirls so I'm sure her points are valid, but I def wouldn't say they've reduced him to nothing."
A Cas fan said she doesn't want to watch the premiere (I'd add..don't watch it ;)): "I think you should watch it. One scene will piss you off like it did me, but it's worth watching, promise.it probably won't piss off all of fandom, and there's a subsection that will love it. Just not my subsection. ;)"
"I mean, I'm a huge Dean fan and I was satisfied, but that's me!" "I will say, I think fans are looking at it the wrong way when focusing on Sam's hell memories. I'd say they're BOTH dealing with internal issues/angst, but that the wider storyline focuses on the big bad and how they deal with it.
My feeling is that they'll both be worried about their own issues and each other's, but the narrative thrust is about the baddies and them being on the run. So Dean is not getting any more/less story than Sam, and BOTH their arcs are introspective. Hope that makes sense.
Is Dean going to take care of Sam: "of course! They're brothers and they love each other, that's always going to be an integral part of the show"
"The focus will always be on the brothers, but they have EQUAL story and parallel issues."
" I think people tend to overreact without letting things play out when it's something they're invested in, understandably!" (mai parole furono più saggie..)
Thanks Jessica for the links :)
