How are you flist?
I am ok, dealing with usual stuff. I can't believe it's still raining...really.
The dinner on FRiday was awesome. The kids had so much fun, we took some videos. I have to conver them and post. They cracked us up. Around midnight they collapsed...and Gaia usually goes to bed at 7.30..so I don't really know where she found the energy to stay awake until midnight.
On Saturday she had fun swimming. I have vids and pics too, I just have to find some time to download them and convert them so that I can show you how much she has fun in the swimming pool.
Sunday was a lazy day...just lot of rest.

Date: 2010-02-23 09:23 am (UTC)I'll get in some reading and some writing and catch up on my fandom a bit, given I'll have the time to finally, instead of squeezing it in between finishing getting kids to bed and my bed time! Often it's just me sleep depriving myself so I can have some me time! :D
I'm just totally frantic at work at the moment trying to get everything I have to finish done before Friday! Argh!!
I work with people with a disability and their families so life kind of happens when it will not to anyones particular timetable! LOL!
Never mind, I do love the part of my job that involves getting positive outcomes for disadvantage people, but just hate, HATE the bureaucracy that seems to go hand and hand with it!
Oh well, that is why I am taking time off to recharge and get my head back into the place where I want to go to work everyday not have to drag myself there.
Waiting for holidays sucks so much. I put these holidays off 3 times before I was finally able to take them and the amount of extra work I'm having to do before I go, I really hope it will be worth it when I get back! I really hope there isn't too much of a mess made out of all my hard work for when I get back to it. Oh well just have to wait and see I guess.
Hang in there Val, I'm sure your holidays will be worth it when they come around!
