Apparently Jensen audictioned for a role in the last Gillian movie. As Lee pointed out he didn't get the role because they wanted a younger actor (as it happened) or because was interested in that project because he thought that with the writer's strike S3 could end up with only 12 eps and he got half of the year free?(yeah I am quoting you babe).

I think Jensen is really missing opportunities...

About S6, if S5 will go on without being so epic as it should be, did Kripke already know about the renewal?

I have faith that Jensen will get more roles as time goes on....though younger??? God the man doesn't look his age as it is. How young did they go? *haven't seen the movie yet*

I don't know, haven't seen it yet. Anyway Jensen is getting old and he is stuck with horror roles. I just hope this won't prevent him to get something else.

Age isn't as big of an issue for men in Hollywood like it is for women, so I don't think Jensen is "getting old" for movies. He's only 31 and can look younger, so I don't think age is that big of a deal. I think the bigger factor is having to turn work down because of Supernatural's shooting schedule and because it films in Canada.

The character had to be around 18, so yeah way too young for jEnsen.

I think shooting SPN is a big problem but Jensen knows it's his job so yeah...

My comment about age was in regards to movies in general. Jensen is not too old for movies or for Hollywood.

Maybe this role wanted someone younger, but that's just this role, there are a lot of other roles out there.

you posted two times the trailer promo cw.for jensden it was a super movie with of super actors. anton is who on the movie? what actor they took?
sure when you film a show tv on few years you miss lot of projects,jared too. but i prefer to have jensen in supernatural season after season that a movie.

I tend to think Jensne didn't get the role because he was busy with SPN when the writer's strike ended. I remember him saying that he prefers not to know what movies he couldn't make and i wonder if that mood he got after this experience. To know that you could get the role with such well-known and talented actors and then coildn't make it because of the show you also love. It's sad. But at least it means they know about Jensen and his people work for him to find interesting parts.

I feel he would never have had those opportunities if not for SPN. His time is coming - I can feel it! They said alot of bad things about Depp before he did Edward Scissorhands - that he would never get a 'real' acting job, had no talent, etc, etc - now look at him! Jensen's time is coming, I have no fear of that. There are roles out there in his future that are made for him. He'll get 'em - and we'll all be so proud!
