Wow I wasn't online for two days, Chigaco Con started and there was already a wank on Jensen. I am happy I missed it.

Why am I not surprised?
Maybe because I know some Jensen haters are there and so I am ready for the worst???

I know the rumour was reported as untrue but you know...I state again what I think. Since it doesn't matter what Jensen does, there is always someone who creates wank on him, he should stop going to conventions of any kind. He really should just act and nothing else.

Btw for info and reports about the Con, go here.

409 review

With limited screen time, Jensen Ackles made the most of his scenes. We got trademark Dean Winchester when he took a moment to be flattered that Anna knew who he was (and I loved Sam's rolled eyes at that). The fear in his eyes when he recognized Alastair was palpable. And his reluctant acceptance after hearing Sam's story was genuine, no matter how much it pained him to try to thank Ruby when he saw her.

Snagged from Lee.

Jason Manns on Jensen from Chicago.

From Spirit:

Next came Jason Manns, and I admit, I was rather excited to see him. He has a very nice speaking voice—wore glasses, which I didn't expect, and rocked the T-shirt/jeans look. His hair was short once more and he was bigger than I'd thought he'd be. In fact, he kinda reminded me of Seth Rogan.

There were a lot of questions about his song being played in Lazarus Rising and the basic reply was that he met Eric Kripke in a Greenroom somewhere (he didn't say) and Kirpke realized he was Jensen's friend, then promised to figure out how to get Jason's music on the show… though it's not exactly "Dean material," as Jason said. He spoke about meeting both Jensen and Steve Carlson—basically it was soon after he'd moved to LA and went to a holiday party, saw a guitar, started playing, Jensen walked up, said he liked the song, and the rest, as they say, is history.

He talked about a couple of movies he was involved in. One called "Death" something (I didn't catch it), and another called Rock Slyde. He told a classic boys are dumb story about Jensen, himself, and a couple of other guys who randomly decided to shoot each other with BB guns… because they were tough enough to take it. *shakes head*

He was funny about the show—said that usually he waited until the season was over, got the DVDs and caught up in 2 days. But because his song was in the premiere, he had to watch…leading him to get caught up in the story, and now he was right there with us in the "TBC??? What's up with THAT?!" When asked what he thought about Jensen ad-libbing the Eye of the Tiger end, he said it wasn't that shocking. When asked how close he felt Jensen was to Dean, his reply was rather poetic, I thought.

He said that Dean was a facet of Jensen's personality—that any character an actor plays for awhile eventually takes on some of the qualities of the actor. He sees his friend in Dean, and he sees Dean in his friend. I liked that.

We all hoped that Jensen would join his friend and sing for us, but Jason let us know that he (JA) had gotten caught up with dinner.
___

A little adding from Sin:

He spoke about meeting Jensen and Steve, and having his song in the season 3 opener. He said it was great exposure for him. He said that he has been following Jensen's roles and did watch him on Smallville and Supernatural now. He was friend

And then he went into this story of how he and Jensen shot each other with bebe guns? HAHA they were being stupid guys and decided to see what it was like getting shot with a bebe gun. So they were going to shoot each other in the butt, but they both missed and Jason got hit in the back of the leg and Jensen got hit in the back. Oh boys *rolls eyes* HAHA

From my friend Lizzy report:
Jensen claimed that the reason he started the whole impromptu dance sequence for Eye of the Tiger a few episodes back was because the first lines of the song were rising up, and he decided to take them literally. And Jared talked about how the PA's and stuff kept telling him, "Dude, that's your cue." He, of course, kept waving them off and laughing hysterically (as we all heard) - he claims that he was especially loud with the laughing because he was miked up.

...Jensen also asked if anyone else thought that it looked like Sam was about to crush Ruby's head during the sex scene

Man how much do I love Jensen clothes there and his "omg here we go again" face???
