Apparentely Lost is killing us. I don't get it. I mean, I know Lost is a big show, but please, SPN deserves to live...could you please record Lost and watch SPN live???

I start to have a lot of doubts about the fanbase...

I'm pissed off because this is really a great episode. At least even SV didn't do good.

Reviews will come later.

I'm spamming today but this is to cheer us up after the bad ratings news.

Tv GUIDE
All right, seriously folks. All man-crushes aside (whether they be
real, fake, or real but pretending to be fake!), how in the hell doesn't Jensen Ackles have a whole shelf full of emmys yet? Did you see last night's ep? Holy crap! Dream a Little Dream of Me was frakkin' awesome, as was Jensen's performance. The fact that this guy isn't recognized for his work on the show is criminal. (Ditto Kyle Chandler on Friday Night Lights, but that's another can of worms for another blog.)
Even the Sam-girls have to agree with me on this one given last night's ep, no?

Why Doesn't Jensen Ackles Have an Emmy Yet??

TV GUIDE
I think the scenes between evil Dean and our Dean were seamless, yet painful to watch. Jensen, once again, did an amazing job. The two Deans looked different, acted different and carried themselves differently. And once again, just like in "Skin", Dean shot himself. That has to mean something in a dream sense as well. I liked to hear that Dean had issues with BDW. He wasn't just a mindless soldier. He really thought he was doing the best for his family.

They are packing in as much story and character growth as they can, and it's a welcome bit of respite from the reality programming filling up so many other prime time hours.......
The show ends with the boys back in the car and Dean admitting that he's done some thinking...and has decided he doesn't want to die. Or go to hell. Sam is bewildered, but there's the briefest flicker of relief across his features as he realizes he doesn't have to try to save his brother on his own anymore - he has his greatest ally to help him.

Ya know, it's times like this when I miss the old TV Squad episode rating system, because here is one that I could have given the coveted 7 out of 7 to......
For me, it called to mind "What Is And What Should Never Be." There is this part of Dean that would like nothing more than to just be a regular guy, going about his regular life. It's just not in the cards for him. The vision of Lisa (Cindy Sampson) waiting for him with a picnic planned lacked some of the drama that having his mother return for "What Is..." had, but the sentiment is the same. And as more time has passed, his reaction to it has grown as well. Ultimately, a good thing, as it finally pushed him over the
edge where the deal is concerned and it looks like he is now on the
same page as Sam. That's good for everybody. It's Dean's best chance at beating the deal, and our best chance at some fantastic episodes as season three continues.
