RED SKY AT MORNING.
Gertrude
4 - 6
Interior an elegant home - sitting room - day.
Gertrude is talking to someone, explaining that she had already talked to the police. We see her, Dean and Sam walk into the room as Dean explains they're with the Sheriff's Department, not the police's one.
Sam starts to talk with Gert and we can see that Gert likes Sam.
Sam is a bit uncomfortable, but he goes on and asks if she was the one who found her niece.
She says she found the girl; she was on the floor of the shower. Dean says she drowned. The woman replies that ahe was, according to the Coroner, but she has doubts since there was no water.
Sam asks about her niece recent behaviour and Gert says she didn't kill herself. Sam asks if she seemed scared and at this point Gert becomes suspicious and asks if they are working with Alex.
The boys look at each other and Dean says yes, they are very close to Alex. Gert is relieved, Alex has been so much comfort to her.
She is a little confused, because she thought the case was closed. Sam says no and asks her to go on with the story.
Gert tells them that Sheila mentioned seeing a boat before she died, maybe a ghost ship.
The boys are surprised and Gert goes on telling them that she wants that spirit dead, if it actually was a spirit to kill her niece.
Gert gets close to Sam and tells him to let her know if there is anything she can do.
Dean stifles a laugh with his fist.
Exterior main street - day.
It looks like a scene from the Lands End catalog and Dean tells Sam he thinks Gertrude is a crazy old lady.

Sam asks what kind of help. Bela tells him she needs dates.

Exterior maritime museum - night.
A stately three story mansion. People wear expensive suits and cocktail dresses.

Interior maritime museum - ballroom - night.
Very elegant place.
Dean and Bela, very well dressed, enter. Dean is wide eyed, he's not used to these things. Bela tells him to act like this is no big deal.
Dean does.
Sam is behind them with Gert on his arm.
Sam reminds her this is just business, but she says they can have a little pleasure too.
He excusees himself and goes to find Dean and Bela. He asks then how long he's supposed to entertain Gert. Bela tells him as long as it takes.
Dean reminds him that the only way they could get into the party was with Gert and so he has to follow her rules.
Gert walks up as Dean leaves with a glass of champage for Sam.

Dean's talking with a security guard. He tells the guard that she is feeling better, but could use a drink of sparkling water, the only one that really works and the guard goes off to get.

Interior Maritime Museum - ballroom - night
Sam is dancing with Gert and she is very happy. Gert asks where are his friends and Sam says he's sure they are entertaining themselves.Gert says they have to entertain themselves as well.
Gert gets closer and takes Sam's hand. He's clearly uncomfortable. She tells him he reminds her of his late husband...he was shy as well, until they got under desks. Meanwhile she wraps her arms around Sam's waist and then slides then under frame.
Sam says "Whoa!" and Gert tells he's firm all over. Sam wonders where Dean is.

Interior maritime museum - 2nd floor - archive room - night.
Dean is standing in front of glass box sitting on podium. There is a calcified hand in the box. There is an alarm at the bottom of the glass case and Dean takes a small tool kit out of his pocket.

Interior Maritime Museum - 2nd floor - office - night
Bela walks around the room, bored. As she picks up a lucite paperweight she hears a knock at the door. It's the Security.

Interior maritime museum - 2nd floor - hallway - night.
A security guard starts to open the door when Bela prevents him from opening the door all the way. Her lipstick is smeared and her gown is off her shoulder.

Interior Maritime Museum - 2nd floor - office - night
Dean enters, while Bela makes herself presentable. He asks if there is any problem and she says no.
Dean shakes his head while she asks for "The Hand". Dean shows it to her.
Bela asks if she can hold it and he says no. Then she tell him to hide it in her purse, but he says no again. She says she's trying to be helpful but Dean deosn't believe her.
Dean takes the scarf from around her neck, wraps it around the hand and puts it in his jacket pocket.

Interior maritime museum - balllroom - night.
Another slow dance and Gert rests her head against Sam's chest. Sam comments on this being a long song.
Gert asks him how the investigation is going. Sam says these things take a long time. She asks if the deaths of the Warren brothers is connected to Sheila's death and Sam agrees.
Gert explains to Sam that they had it coming in a Biblical way. Sam asks her to explain. She comes closer to Sam's ear and starts to whisper. Sam leaned to let her talk into his hear and she tells him the Warren brother's father didn't die of natural causes. She tells him the brothers killed their father. Sam is thinking something.
He asks if there is any connection between the Warrens and Sheila. No, Gert says.
Sam asks if Sheila ever had any kind of tragedy in her life. Gert talks about a car accident when Sheila was a teenager. Her cousin was killed. He pushes her back and stares at her. She seems surprised and asks if that was important. Sam is going to answer when Dean and Bela show up.
Bela asks if they are having a nice time and Gert kisses her on the cheek and nods. She tells Bela Sam wants her. Bela tells to the boys, she's going to get Gert into a cold shower. She tells them to meet at the cemetery.

Interior maritime museum - parking lot - night.
Dean and Sam jump into the Impala, slam the doors. Sam asks Dean if he got the hand, at least his time with Gert was worthy. Dean reaches into coat and takes out the scarf. He unwraps it and suddenly he looks worried. It's the paperweight. He tells Sam he's going to kill her.

Date: 2007-09-05 01:37 pm (UTC)Because I read comments about how Bela makes Dean look a bit dumb, with the exchange of the mummified hand; and in the ball room.
And others are a bit pissed because in the 3.03 Bela'd let the Sam's life in danger and now they said the the Dean and Bela seems a hate/love relationship, but that this is OOC for Dean, because he wouldn't have a "thing" with her, because she put the Sam's life in danger somehow...
I'm a bit confused here :huh:
Oh, and there is a cute story about a fan who met Jensen, Jared and Sandy in a LJ, did you read it?

And yes, Bela stole "the hand" from Dean, but Sam wasn't in danger.
And I see an interesting relationship between Bela and Dean.
Sometimes people get pissed for nothing :)

They said that Bela put Sam in danger during the 3.03 when she wan't give the rabbit leg to Dean and without it Sam could die and for this the "real Dean" couldn't like her, but that they are changing Dean to fit Bela...
Well, we'll see, I guess.
