It annoys me how people leave Elena make decisions about Klaus, as if the Klaus thing is only about Elena. Yes, he is a threat for her but he was for everyone. If he had thought that killing someone would have been useful for him, he would not have hesitated. He slaved Stefan, sired Klaus, threated Bonnie, tortured Damon, almost killed Jeremy and Ric...so yeah why it should just be up to Elena? Looks like only Damon and Matt were brave enough to say out loud that she wasn't the best person to make that decision...
Now your Damon comments deserve more time and I will come back to them soon :)
