TVD thoughts under the cut.
Written while watching :)
-This is the Elena I like. Kick ass, strong Elena. I loved what Alaric said to her because you know, she can be naive or wrong sometimes, but she is so young and her life has been a real hell lately. She is dealing pretty well I think.
-Interesting exchange between Damon and Stefan. Totally role reversal but, with a GYNORMOUS BUT. Damon is not judging his brother actions. He's been there. He knows how Stefan feels. He knows what this all means. Damon's reaction is the one I was expecting from Stefan since the beginning because Stefan was there too and maybe Damon just needed a little understanding.
-Oh Damon...his face when Rebekah said she was staying there..priceless.
-Can't really blame Bonnie for not being happy about the whole "Jeremy can see Vicki and Anna" thing. She is right, Jeremy didn't break up with them. They just died.
-"so I can de-rippefy Stefan before he destroys my house"..oh Damon...*grins*
-"Barbie Klaus" LOL!
-Caroline is always so enthusiastic about everything. She tries so hard to make everything normal, it's not easy..isn't it?
-Tyler is not really understanding what's going on. He looks happy to be a hybrid. I wouldn't be.
-Tyler compelling the coach, treating Caroline like this. That's what I meant. He doesn't even realize how dangerous it is.
-Stefan is a real douche bag...not sure I like him now. He has no humanity left. Nothing. is it because he is compelled? I mean pretty much every vampire who switched his humanity off, could steel feel something, could remember something. Stefan seems empty. Well at least he is funny.
-"Buffy", "Warrior Princess"..always the best lines.
-"I'll do whatever it is you need me to do, Elena"...I think I melted. The whole scene, from the "Feel that" (Ian's voice does things to me...) to the "that's your way to vampire's heart" was just perfect. Sexual tension, two-way communication pretty well balanced. It's a physical way to get rid of a vampire but also a way to own him. It's Damon, being firm and strong, yet sweet and caring.
It's Damon, not scared to declare his feelings for Elena and it's Elena, breathing heavily, standing there, feeling his hands on her skin, staring at his lips... about to kiss him and then Damon mentioning Stefan, as to point out that it's about defense he was talking about. Damon did it on purpose I think, because it's not in this way that it has to happen. Not when Elena is vulnerable like she is now.
SO SO SO PERFECT!
-"hybrid, slave minion"..yeah Caroline. it took a second to Damon to realize that Tyler is not going to play along. Not if this means going against Klaus.
-Tyler has been sired. I am glad they talked about the sire thing. I am also happy about the explanation Damon gave.
-Matt is going to be in trouble. I don't think Vicki is bad per se, but I think she is selfish enough to mess up with nature's laws in order to get what she wants. Killing Elena included.
-oh wow..Rebekah and Damon were kind of lustful together...and yes Elena is jealous.
-Are Tyler and Caroline the new Elena/Stefan? Let's hope they are not.
-When did Stefan catch Elena, did he feel anything? For a second I thought he did. Let's see what they want to do with him.
-Come on Ric, do something!
-Oh Matt...*cuddles him*. As Dean said once in SPN, "what's dead should stay dead"
-"I was faking most of it".."So was I"...it's just the voice, it's all about the voice and the looks...awwwww.
-Oh Alaric worst time EVER!!!
-Alaric and Damon. I guess they both miss each other. I want them back. I miss them, so please Ric drop this attitude...please.
-Me not likes Tyler.
-SO IN LOVE WITH SEBASTIAN ROCHE' ACCENT.
-Oh oh...Mikael feeds on vamps...
-Yay ELENA! Very well done. Stefan deserved it.
-I feel sorry for Jeremy, Anna and Bonnie. It's all so complicated.
-Mason Lockwood is back and it doesn't look good for Damon.
I liked the episode. It was a very good filler one. I am curious to see what will happen with Mikael and why Mason is back.
