Excellent episode!
I really appreciated the vampires plot and how Kripke decided to handle it, showing that they are just like us, some good, some evil.
I also liked how the episode was shot and the lights they used for it.

Now back to my higlights:

-the METALLICAR is back! I so loved the first scene with Dean so happy to have his baby back. He looked so relaxed, like if, with his car, even his old life was back. Unfortunately we know it isn't.

-the sheriff saying"you're kidding" and Dean answering "no". His expressions during the whole scene were priceless.
I really enjoyed to have the boys back at work, with their usual attitudes. The lab scene was good and they lookes so professional and funny, like in the past.

-eh eh Sam offering the money to the barman! He really learned a lot spending a whole year with his big brother! Sam's growing on me week by week :).

-the scene outside the bar, when the boys stopped Gordon, was very good. I loved how it was shot and the light they used. I really appreciated when they show how much they boys are good at their work. They noticed Gordon even if he was very careful and they immediately suspected him. Very well done boys!

- Sam and Dean to the rescue! I love these action scene, but this time, I felt very sorry for Dean. He killed that vampire with so much violence, like he was enjoying it. Like he was venting his pain and anger again against something. The same rage he was so desperately trying to control. He knew that and the look he had at the end of the scene was priceless and so so sad;

-again at the bar, with Dean and Gordon getting along, while Sam was so out of place. Sam knew what's going on with Dean and he was really worried about the possibility that his brother could change.
I felt PURE LOVE for Sam, when he told Gordon that only Dean could call him "Sammy", another proof of his love for the big brother :).
I also think that Sam did the right thing going away and Dean, even is aware of his brother's discomfort, let him go. They both needed some time alone.

-the conversation between Gordon and Dean was great. Listening Dean telling him about his life, the things he had seen and that Sam couldn't even imagine them, helps us to understand more what Dean's living now. He needs to open up and he chose Gordon instead of Sam, because it's easier. Because probably Dean really thinks that he and Gordon are alike, more than he and Sam and he needs to be reassured, not questioned all the time.
Dean talking about John broke my heart. We all think that our parents are invincible, but, growing up, we realize they aren't. Dean's realizing it too and it's not easy to adjuste to this new life, carrying the burden John left him and having to watch out for Sam, more than before. Dean's so tortured, screwed up and disfuctional that he has to find a new balance. I'm sure he will, but he needs time.

-Sammy in danger! Loved him talking to the vampires and I appreciated how he dealt with them, giving them a chance to show that they could be good.

- The whole talk/fight between the brothers was probably the best moment of the episode. First of all, I loved tha acting and the lines. The writers did a good job.
Sam's right, Dean consideres Ellen a stranger but not Gordon. Dean's living in denial, he's trying to find someone to rely on, someone who can help him to carry the burden John left him with and, since he can't tell Sam about it, he has found a
new, strong male figure and he doesn't think about who this person really is.
Dean hitting Sam has a precise meaning. The problem with Sam is that he doesn't know the whole truth, so, as much as he wants to help Dean, he can't, because he can't completely understand his brother. So Dean hitting him is like saying "Sam bro, I need you to be on my side, but I need time to understand who I am and what I want,I can't teel you the truth, I can't change the past..."
I totally loved that Dean was pretty calm when he hit Sam and Sam was too in his reaction. More powerful than a blast of rage!
KRIPKE I LOVE YOU for this dynamics!!!

- Dean knows how to apologize! Back in the car, when he said "you're a pain in the ass, but you did good"...so Dean-ish!

- the scene with Gordon torturing the vampire (AB did a great job) was great too. I loved how Dean told him to chill out and how he reacted when he understood what Gordon had done to his sister. You can so see every single thought crossing his mind. Dean thinking that he couldn't have killed Sam if he had to turn evil, Dean thinking about if his being or not different from Gordon, Dean thinking about his whole life and about what's right and what's wrong, Dean thinking about how far he could go and Dean again ready to kill a man to save his brother.
Loved Gordon taking Sam to show the real vampire's nature and how she fought it, wanting to be different, wishing to be good.

-I'm glad Dean realized which was the right thing to do and let me be a fan girl now, I TOTALLY LOVED THE FIGHT SCENE!
Is there anything HOTTER than Dean/Jensen fighting? I thought Ben and Alec would have been the death of me, but Dean...the more Jensen gets older, the more he gets sexier...and the lights they use...JENSEN!!! *thud*

-Ok being serious again, I liked Gordon..he was a lost soul with only a reason to live, the hunt, while Dean and Sam have each other at least.

-I loved Dean saying "I'm good now" and "hit me Sam" .

-I was impressed by the last scene...the ROLE REVERSAL! Dean questiong his life, how their dad raised them, why and who they hunt...everything and Sam, Sam being the one to reassure him. They so complete each other!
So much love in this scene...and Dean thanking his brother! Love love love this show :)

-Last Dean's glance...*is dead*

-Congrats to the boys and the other actors, they all did a great job...but Jensen, well he did it again, left me speechless!
