I am happy to have found him and Ian too. Sometimes the guy seems a little naive, but he tries hard and his beliefs and determination are so strong that I can forgive him his flaws ;)

Damon is really growing on me as well. He has really grown this season and I am curious to see where he will go for the rest of the year.

aww I'm right there with you =( Thursdays are going to be such a pain--thank goodness I got into Skins (it comes on Thursdays as well--although I usually end up watching it online Friday lol), but still nothing could mitigate the loss of TVD =(
hehe and yea Damon has a tendency to do that =P
It looks like Caroline's going to take this one from the results (she's about 200 votes ahead), but I do love her to bits (she's right up there with Damon for me) and she would make an awesome fandom rep when TVD goes up against other shows if anything. Although it is good to see that Damon's not at a loss for love nonetheless--he still has a massive number of votes, the only potential second actually so yaay hehe <33

You know I think most of Damon fans are not even on LJ (TuMBRL is their place I guess) and in an ensemble show it's good to see there are more than just one interesting charcaters.
It amuses me that neither Stefan nor Elena made it.

Yea, I think you're right. Like, there are many Damon fans on LJ (over half my f-list are Damon lovers so yaay!!), but they're not the overwhelming majority as is the case with some other sites (Tumblr definately *nods* and Vampire-Diaries.net is pretty Damon dominated as well lol)
& ITA, at least TVD has a few more interesting characters to offer (although you are right, Stefan and Elena don't seem to get much love where these things are concerned, idk =/). I'm not sure if you watch Gossip Girl (I'm not even sure why I watch it anymore tbh lool), but Blair is like the only character that gets much fandom love (and she's the only one that has still maintained my interest lol) and she wins everything and anything by an overwheliming/i> majority (like no one even comes close)--In this poll I think she's besting every other GG character by over 1,000 votes!! yikes!! LOL
