Today I have so many Damon and Dean feelings! I can't wait to have them both back...but while I am super excited for TVD (DON'T SCREW UP THE SALVATORES RELATIONSHIP BTW), I am very much on the fence with SPN. I have the felling that a lot of the things they could have done will be wasted again. No, I am not talking about Dean being in Purgatory for half of the season, because this would have been totally unrealistic..plus last time they kept Dean and Sam apart (S6 since robo!Sam was not Sam), they ruined everything...what I don't want it's them ruining again the chance of a fair characters/storylines development.
A new argument is going on in fandom, about Dean, Cas and Sam being abusive. What do you think about it?

It is easy to say this now though, when my favourite show of all time, ever, amen, returned on Sunday night! I'm still living in the glow of its flawlessness! It'll be finished before TVD starts again so... I dunno what'll happen then!! But I do know I'll never be invested in TVD like I once was.

I know we differ in opinions a little about S6 & S7, but I am hopeful for S8. I know the season won't come out the way we were talking about at the end of S7, I never expected it would. I have learned a lot about expectations this past year, personally, and for the show, I just want to sit back and relish the fact that I get to watch another 23 episodes in the story of Dean and Sam Winchester, and I am going to enjoy it based on that. I am going to angst over the angsty parts and laugh with the funny moments and just really do my best to enjoy what the writers, producers, directors and actors will be giving us on a weekly basis. Because I love this show, I love these characters and I just want them in my life, and I am happy that they are, and will just enjoy the moments for what the are.
I haven't heard any of the scuttlebut going on in fandom about Dean, Sam & Cas being abusive. I tend to stay away from the fan boards because they just irritate me to no end. So, this is the first I am hearing of it. But about the argument, I say poppycock. I think they are just being family. I don't hold any cred to it and just have no desire to read any of the arguments/complaints or even be sucked into that vortex.

Let's start it here again. Since i don't remember all exact examples of Cas being abusive can you give me at least couple of them?

I dunno, I have learned to see Cas through a different point of view. Not feeling much love for him right now, so I might be biased.

I tend to see him throough Dean's eyes and if Dean is ready to forgive him i'm ready too. There's also a thing that i like Cas on his own. He hurt Dean yes but he admitted it (thing sam never actually did) and he sees Dean and his flaws and in a way is trying to open Dean's eyes. That talk in the car when Cas didn't remember he's Cas and he talked about himself and Dean and that Dean deserves better was heart-warming.

At this point, while Sam is a character I am totally indifferent about, I am on still on the fence with Cas.

I know what you mean and in a way i feel about him the same.
The thing for me is i want to see that road to redemption and i want them to be together in the end cause i know that Dean needs Cas as a friend. It's the only friend he has anyway. And that fact Cas still sees something in Dean others never saw makes me feel better aboout that character. it doesn't excuse his bad behaviour but it gives him some points you know.

I'm on the fence too in a way but i tend to hope Cas won't betray *my* hopes and if so i want to see how he'll see Dean now after everything they've been through and how things in purgatory went. The thing is i want to know more about cas to judge him (in opposite to sam whom i don't care at all and only want to be as far from Dean as possible).

Anyway I don't think Dean is not going to forgive Cas. He has already forgiven him actually..in his own way. Dean has leraned that it's not useful and good to waste the time you spend with your beloved ones being mad at them.

But we also don't know what happened in purgatory - if cas disappeared and Dean doesn't know he had to and did it not on his own volition Dean could think Cas left him therenand it may play role into him forgiving Cas. But he'll do eventually. Cause it's Dean :)
