Elena is choosing the easier way I guess. Her loss. Damon pack honey and leave them to save their asses, then when they are all about to die..show up and save them all, then just leave again and enjoy life elsewhere!

About Elena choosing Damon. I actually think that the bros would be better off without her. I am not a hardcore shipper. I just want Damon happy and since he is stubborn and he loves her, I want him to have some happiness and not constantly been hurt.

That being said I think Damon should leave :)
