I agree with all of your character analysis.

I'm afraid they will have to kill Alaric too :( I know he's been not so nice to Damon lately, but I still can't hate him.

Caroline to me, will never not be awesome. I ship her with Klaus, but at the same time am so worried for her. Especially with Tyler coming back, that's going to really hurt her if anything happens to him.

Klaus is just Klaus..he's evil and yet charming. I love the character, I don't want him to go. And he does have the potential to become allies with them at the very least if the threat is to them all. He does have potential to change too, as you said. Honestly, he really just has to stop making the hybrids. That would eliminate the needing Elena's blood factor, and it would take a lot of the threat away in terms of him sticking around.

Rebekah makes me terribly sad sometimes, she's just so desperate for attention and really wants someone to like her for who she is. Unfortunately, there aren't many people, outside of her family and maybe Stefan from before, that really understand her. And Klaus is really a bad influence on her, of course Kol is too. The best thing for her would be to maybe distance herself a bit from them. I'd love for her to become friends with Caroline, and eventually Elena too. She just has to get over the whole stabbing in the back thing lol

I'm never really sure what to say about Elena. I love her, but she doesn't always make the best decisions. That's really all I can say for her.

Bonnie needs better storylines, period. So far, the only thing that I've liked with her this season, has been her confrontation with Klaus and the spell in this episode. It showed her vulnerability and made me actually feel sorry for her, which I don't normally do. She got her moment to break down in this episode, and it really hit home for me how much she really needs Elena, Caroline, Matt, Jeremy, and even Abby in her life. She needs people she can depend on that aren't always worried about only Elena.

I loved also, Stefan and Elena's conversation at the end. Though I was still upset about Finn, so I had a hard time really paying attention to that scene. But I liked him, for once, actually confronting her about Damon and her feelings for him.

And Damon, what can I say? Damon does no wrong in my eyes, probably ever. I mean, yes, he was horrible to Caroline in season 1 and used Rebekah, though honestly, sometimes I wonder for her being an Original, she seems to let her emotions get the best of her. I'd think that after a thousand years, what Damon did, would be nothing to her in light of all she's been centuries through before.

I agree that Damon and Bonnie do have a lot more in common. They tend to be the ones that get left behind, so to speak. If she could get over the vampire part, I think they could be good friends, if not at least better allies.

I can't hate Klaus. Can I have him, Damon and Stefan roadtripping?

^^This would be so hilarious lol
