I have my doubts about the whole "Is Sam really Sam" thing but I am not going to talk about it before I have seen the episode.

That was a great promo for me, dark and kick ass and i hope this whole brotherly angst to stop before the first half of the season.
I don't know why they made Sam different but we'll see.

I'd say "again" as well...you know I think a good fresh start would have been having the boys talking and listening to each other for real, stating their opinions and making their differences clear. Then go on hunting....

Plus I am on the fence with the writers because, as much as I try, I can't copme to terms with the fact that they considered Dean and Adam at the same level as Michael's vessel. this is something I'm not going to forget that easily...

Hi Val! Oh my, loving the Dean/Lisa and Ben stuff.

Now that they have highlight the Sam not acting like Sam part we can just about be sure that it won't be a plot device! :P Though I'm glad that I wasn't imagining things when I saw his expression in the season finale and was like - 'what's up with Sam, he seemed a bit off, especially undering the flicking lights'. Though as you said we just have to wait and see and my guess is it won't be anything as they have highlighted so much in the trailer. They like to give red herrings so I will wait and see! :P

My little heart was so happy to see Dean happy and domesticated. I really didn't think I'd feel that way, but I was really happy to see him happy and not just pining for Sam for a whole year.

I can't wait to see it! Is it SPN day yet???!! :P

I'm happy about the seeming Deancentricity of this promo (though I hope the Lisa&Ben thing isn't over as quickly as it seems by this promo); and I hope Sera is legitimately trying to right the wrongs of S5 by making and keeping Dean an important protagonist for once in now six years. At least, I hope she's not doing what it seems Kripke did with S4 in trying to keep the Dean fans happy and content before pulling the rug out.

As for the "did Sam come back wrong" angle, this would literally be the fifth incarnation of that same story line we've had since the beginning, and I just can't be paid enough to care about it anymore.

Otherwise, I'm very cautiously hoping for a good strong Dean angle this year - or, at least, for him treated respectfully and like he's a lead character.

Is sam came back wrong or not is boring like hell for couple of seasons already but other than that it was cool trailer and i love Dean/Lisa stuff and i'm already sad Dean will be forced to leave her and Ben *sigh*
The most important thing is working Dean wearing googles. So Hawt!!!! *thud*

Yes! You know what i figured out for myself? I saw only couple of moments of *domesticated* Dean and i already can tell i'd watch him in there and it would be interesting for me. He's so *fitting* into any surrounding it's amazing. And it's new to see Dean like that and everything new is cool.
