Tall Tales rewatching

Rai4 is airing the Tall Tales re-run..how much different the boys were. The Trickster...if they only knew who he really was.

I have a total different feeling rewatching it considering what we know now. Everything is under a different light.

Anyway few things I thought rewatching:

-Jared looked so young;

-they love to beat Dean up;

-kissing!Dean is always hot;

-the issues between the boys were already there, they just didn't know it as they do now;

-that Bobby was the one I used to love;

-I miss the joy that fans shared at that time.

I think Dean is working on it. Sel esteem issues are not easy to be solved especially if they are in the middle od a battle.

I think Dean is healing, the fact he is willing to let Sam go and face Lucifer (even if I don't think he will let him go alone) means imo that Dean is finally accepting tha fact that Sam is an adult man and his parental role has come to an end. If Dean will be able to accept this and to detach, he will be finally able to work on his issues...but just the fact that now he sees Sam for who he is, is heroic. You being a mom, should understand what I mean;)

Oh do I ever! Some of the hardest moments of my life so far have been letting my children try risking things on their own and not intervene when it doesn't go completely to plan so they can learn from their mistakes.

It's probably why I love Dean with kids so much. He has already been an great Dad to Sam and is learning the final lesson of parenting the 'stepping back and letting go'. Probably one of the hardest parts at least for most parents.

The next step is learning that you have other roles that are just as important and can fulfill you just as much. I just hope Dean finds another role than solider. I think he is at a point now that he can. It would be an interesting transformation of character and one I have every faith that Jensen could pull off.

The next step is learning that you have other roles that are just as important and can fulfill you just as much.
I am sure Dean will understand it. He has been a soldier and a father for all his life, he needs time to adjust and see that he has done a very good job because I am pretty sure Sam won't fail him...not again.
