HAPPY BIRTHDAY [livejournal.com profile] lex_83!!!

Sorry I don't have much time to scroll down all my flist but I'll try to catch up :)

I am maybe overeacting, but you know me... I can be overprotective :))) What follows is just my humble opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs.

First thing I noticed this morning: Dean Winchester pissed some fans off. Dean is not allowed to fail, rememeber? Dean can't be weak, tired, broken, he can't play the reluctant hero, he can't be selfish (????)..no he can't. I might not agree with the fact that his behaviour hurt Sam, but how many times Sam did hurt Dean? It's part of being brothers, of being Dean and Sam.
Everyone in this show can make mistakes, Dean can't.

Can you tell me why the last scene disappointed some of you so much?
I just loved every single word, glance and emotion that shone through Dean's face.
Are you upset because you think Dean is giving up?
Are you mad because you think Dean is leaving Sam alone?
Dean is not, really. He has taken a break, he is taking care of one thing that is important for him before saying yes...I guess we all know he is going to say yes and doing the only thing that can save the wordl. So far, none has showed up with a better idea. Exactly like when Dean went to Hell. None was able to save him.

For once he did think about someone else. For once he did not think about Sam in the first place. Maybe...because I am pretty sure that Dean will come back to Sam, because, it's always about Sam for Dean but... If Sam asks and Dean is not ready to do what he asks for, Dean is criticized. You know, in S4 Sam pissed the hell out of me but I felt sorry for him, because he was lost and alone...now it's Dean's turn and there is no understanding for him? I wish I could see some balance when it comes to these boys and their actions.
I really don't understand: these boys need to deal with their issues and theh writers have neglected them for too long in this season. Now they are finally facing their problems and it is not good? Why? Because the boys have to be Dean&Sam all the time? They will be, but they can't now, not with what's happening or has happened already.

Ok yeah..I am in total Dean protecting mood, because, honestly? I have faith in him and in Kripke and I love to see how much resigned and broken is Dean. Especailly because I am sure he will come back and do the right thing. Dean won't give up at the end and he won't leave Sam, but, again, we should stop to consider that his only purpose is to stick with Sam. Dean has the right to live, decide, breathe on his own. Not just because of Sam.
If the writers will ever let Dean to realize he is just Dean and not "Dean who exists for Sam", they will do to their characters some justice and I'll be very very happy for both of them.

-Talking about Sam, I loved he showed some tender loving care in this episode and I really liked his interaction with the other characters. Sam is slowly growing up and I am happy about it.

-The episode
I loved it!
It was intense and I really enjoyed the action scenes. The boys saving each other and the little moments they spent together just talking and discussing things.
In each episode it is remarked that what is happening is Dean and Sam's fault. I don't agree with it but it's a useful plot device to tell us more about the boys. You could see on their faces how much affected they are but also how they are dealing with it in different ways. Kinda role reversal, Dean tired and discoureaged, Sam willing to fight. It's something we have seen since S4, after Dean came back from Hell. Maybe what he has seen is enough to weaken even the strongest person, being chosen and being asked to have faith when there is no proof your faith will be helpful.
Faith is something that you have or you don't, it's something inside of you, it's a great help if you have it and if you don't, you can feel lost.

-Castiel, Dean and Sam FTW!

-Finally a Dean-Cas scene, awww...I wanted to cuddle both of them (actually I wanted to cuddle Sam too). Dean and Cas can totally relate on a lot of levels. They have been failed by their fathers, they have believed in something thta was not as they thought it was, they are hopeless now.

-Go Dean...it was a good day, wasn't it? It's interesting: she could get killed only by a servant of Heaven and Dean killed her. So Does Dean serve Heaven even without telling yes to Michael? Or did he think "yes" for a moment and it worked?

-"When I picture myself happy, it's with you and the kid" AWWWWWWW!

-"I wish I could"....the war comes first.

-I guess we could talk about faith, religion, the effects of blind faith have on people but these are very sensitive subjects to be handled here.

-SHALLOW NOTE: Jensen gets prettier and prettier!
