Here we are again, 7 years later. I know everyday horrible things happen around the world, I know everyday people die violently but what happened that day...is...different. Different is not even the right word.

We were talk about it today and commenting how, when it happened everyone was in disbelief, but if you told of similar attack today, you would be believed straight away.

It is infinitely sad that this happened at all, but even sadder I think that we are now living in a world where we almost expect something like this to happen in our world at any given moment.

My heart goes out to all those that lost someone from that day and the resulting fallout.

It changed our perception of what is real and what is not.

I remember I was watching CNN when I saw the second airplane crashing into the tower. I remember I thought it was a nighmare. It couldn't be real. Now we know it was. Now we expect even worse.

They have killed our naivety.

I have similar memories of the tragedy and sadly yes we lost a great deal more than lives that day.

Though I have taken away from it that I must appreciate what I have in my family everyday and not take it for granted that I will get to tell them that I love them the next time I see them.

Every moment is precious and teaches us a little more that we should always be grateful for what we have.

hai ragione, quel giorno ha cambiato la nostra vita e nonostante passino gli anni non la si può dimenticare.

io un paio di giorni fa ho visto questo..sconvolgente è dir poco...ancora di più perkè sono immagini che nn avevo mai visto, come quelle del tuo filmato. Sono due filmakers francesi, fratelli, che stavano documentando la vita di una caserma dei pompieri e si trovano lì sotto in quel momento..e la telecamera rimane accesa per tutto il tempo....poi si sperdono e si ritrovano ed è .. ;______;
