I loved to see new vamps powers. I wonder whether the Originals can do the same thing, being that old, and if Damon and Stefan could, practising.
It seems to me that they have powers in common and some others that are specific to the age and the practice.

I don't think we have seen the last about the ring. ric is temporary ok because Bonnie made a reverse spell, but what will happen when ric will use his ring again? What about Jer, if he gets killed again?

I think Elena will be turned eventually. If she will choose one of the Salvatores, she will be turned. so yeah she basically gave up the idea of becoming a mother. On the other hand, Damon or Stefan could become human...but i don't see the show going down this route as the endgame.
